I have come to understand that good leaders know how to connect, collaborate and communicate in an effective manner with one another using a variety of digital tools with skill. Most importantly, I gained an understanding of the philosophy that supports the increasing, expanding technology for the future. This skill is by far the vital in proficiency to me. It is my hope to retain and improve upon the skills I acquired during the course of this class. I have realized not only must we serve as technology guides for our students and faculty today but also we must continue keeping the vision and philosophy of improving and expanding as we instruct and communicate with others around us. Application of skills as well as the mentality to foresee the need of digital skills and knowledge is essential for successfully instructing our students of the future. Acceptance of technology and embracing it as a tool in which to inform and educate must take place to reach the generations of our future.
